The main reason why we chose this frame was because of how the slatted bed base was shown on the pictures – every single piece of wood was meant to be securely attached to the frame. When the frame arrived it turned out that the slatted bed base was very different – only top, bottom and middle wooden boards were meant to be secured to the frame.
Additionally one of the metal bars that should hold the most of the mattress’s weight was bent and poorly welded.
Had to return and look elsewhere. Though customer service provided a few options – like keeping the frame and getting a discount, replacing it for free.
