The LPD Tiva Ladder Bookcase comes as a flatpack. The instructions for assembling are the best that I have ever seen. It even gives the exact measurements of the finished product including the height and depth of each of the shelves. The only tools needed for assembly is a screwdriver (cross-headed) although a hammer is useful, but not necessary, for driving the wooden pegs home.
Care is needed to place the shelves the right way round and, carelessly I had one wrong. However, it was quite easy to disassemble and correct the error.
Once assembled it is really sturdy and stands without wobbling.
