I’m very pleased with this thermometer spoon so far. I use it for heating up milk to the temperature required for making a particular yogurt. I need to maintain this temperature for a full 20 minutes whilst continuously stirring so as not to burn the milk. That’s not easy to do normally so having this spoon really helps. I can see a problem arising when the time comes to change the battery on it. Try as I may I cannot get the battery housing compartment open. I think I’m going to have to get stronger fingers than mine to do it. It’s a very handy spoon to have though so I’m going to take good care of it in the hope that it lasts a long time. Another bonus is that it’s made of silicone so doesn’t scratch my pan.
